An exquisite early 20th century natural pearl and diamond tonneau wristwatch by Cartier, mounted in platinum and 18 karat gold. The tonneau cream dial with black Roman numerals and blue steel moon-style hands framed by rose cut and single cut diamonds, the crown set with a rose cut diamond, with natural pearl bracelet with rose cut diamond deployant clasp. The platinum mount shows the typical 'mille grains' finish.
Signed Cartier and numbered.

Manuel movement by Edmond Jaeger marked "E.W. & C° Inc, Swiss - 8 Eight Adjustments - 19 Nineteen Jewels" which stands for European Watch and Clock Company, a joint venture between Cartier and Edmond Jaeger. Maker's mark of Edmond Jaeger. French assay marks for platinum and 18 karat gold.
